Zoo series to a date time stamp that is regular
...index values in chron format. The problem is that the date and times should be at even 15 min intervals, but because of operator error (me) they are on 15 min intervals for some of the data and on 15+1 min intervals for some and 15+1.56 for some of the same site. I would like to create a regular 15min time series from this and need to know if I can just create an empty time series with the entire date time I would like and then aggregate. I am not sure how merge or aggregate would act in this particular situation. I want to "snap" readings to the nearest 15min interval. kindest regar...

meetme conference latency degrades...
...ave recently started making more frequent use of the meetme conference of our * system. We are using v1.0.8 with a 2.6.11 kernel on our system. We generally have 4 callers in it: two with the gsm codec and 2 with g729. Initially, the conference works fine and there is little latency. After about 15min., though, the latency is very noticable and by 25min it's unbearable. If we all leave the conference and return, the latency is unnoticable again. The load on the box is minimal, and only our meetme is running most of the time. Checking system load with top shows 0.1 or less. We have no dig...

Repeat the first day data through all the day. Zoo
down vote favorite Hello I have a zoo series. It lasts 10 years and its frequency is 15min. I'd like to get a new zoo series (or vector) with the same number of elements, whith each element equal to the first element of the day. That's, The first element everyday is repeated throughout the wole day. This is not same as aggregate(originalseries,as.Date,head,1) because this gives...

After Windows login black screen with mouse cursor
...drs showrepl has no failure and I created a user and it was instantly available on both DCs. This morning a lot of clients had the following issue: They were started as usual and the users do their login. But after this a black screen appears where only the mouse cursor is shown. It lasts 10 to 15min until the normal desktop appears. First I suspected two new installed Windows updates (KB3006137 and KB3021917) but after deinstallation nothing changed. I use roaming profiles via gpo and folder redirection for AppData, Desktop, Documents and Favorites. One more note: One client had this two...

Is it possible to set up multi-level puppet nodes?
Hi, I am new in puppet, and I just wonder whether it is possible to create multiple levels of puppet masters. Can puppet work this way? First-level(master): root-master Second-level(masters): master1, master2 Third-level nodes(as agents): agent1, agent2, agent3, agent4 All master nodes in the second-level are agents of root-master, and each of third-level

Is there a better way with a systemd based systemd to have these files removed daily?

LMTP : Can't handle mixed proxy/non-proxy destinations
...the mail will be delivered with a lag of 15 minutes. I was wondering if there was another way of handling this, for example by triggering an immediate queue lookup from postfix or forwarding a copy of the mail to the other server. Note that the postfix "queue_run_delay" was increased to 15min on purpose, so I cannot change that. I'm using dovecot 2.0.15 on Debian Squeeze, kernel 2.6.32-5-amd64. Thanks, Alexis

ggplot2: facet_grid with only one level does not display the graph with the facet_grid level in title
...All, Here is the code that I'll be referring to: p <- ggplot(wastran.data, aes(PER_KEY, EVENTS)) (p <- p + facet_grid( pool.short ~ .) + stat_summary(aes(y=EVENTS), fun.y = sum, geom="line") + opts(axis.text.x = theme_text(angle = 90, hjust=1), title="Events (15min.) vs. Time: Facet pool", strip.text.y = theme_text()) ) Now, depending on preceding parameters, the 'pool.short' factor variable in 'wastran.data' can have one distinct factor level or it can have more than one. When 'pool.short' has more than one factor level, the g...

writing output directly to file; sink?
...ts so that the output vector length will not exceed 2^31. Working on a 64bit machine with 80GB RAM, I still get close to the memory limits when allowing output to be held in memory (as would be expected). Originally, I planned to write the output to a file after it was produced in memory. It took 15min for the output to be produced, but now it's been working on writing it to a file for almost an hour (and ongoing). Is the recommended way to manage large output like this to write it directly to a file? Can that be done as the output is produced, so that memory usage does not build (i.e., so...

Setting up charge/voltage based shutdowns

If the secondaries can define their one parameters for initiating the shutdown, one can decide something like: - VMware will shutdown at 20% battery left OR 15min of runtime left - NAS will shutdown at 10% ou 8min left Another approach is to attempt to define a way to sync secondaries? but that?s much more complex. MS Access macro's running very slowly
Hi, I?ve recently migrated to a Samba3 server and everything seems to be running well apart from a problem with some users that run macros in MS Access. I?m told that a process which used to take 15min on the old W2K server took over an hour on the new samba box. After having a scan through the archives I think the problem may be related to oplocks/locking but I?m pretty sure I?ve got these setup OK. Checking usage through top and vmstat shows that the server isn?t overloaded so I guess there ma...
