tinc 1.0.26 on Ubuntu 15.10 x64 sometimes crashes on startup
Hello,
on an x64 ubuntu 15.10 desktop tinc 1.0.26 sometimes crashes on startup
of the machine. eth0 (via good old cat6 cable, no wireless) is
configured to use dhcp. The crash does not happen often, I have seen it
in total maybe 2 or 3 times since installing 15.10 while it was still in
alpha ( July 2015 ) until today. The desktop is not shut down very
often, maybe once a week or every two weeks

R-packages for Ubuntu 15.10 wily
Dear Dirk,
I just upgraded to Ubuntu 15.10. It seems that the r-packages are not
upgrading although deb files exist on the cran repository.
For instance, r-cran-rjags is back to 3-15-1
On the repository, I saw that the 'Sources' and 'Packages' files in wily
folder show vivid version of packages although dated to yesterday :

Error in "15.10 Example of full nat solution with QoS"?
Near the end of section 15.10, the following commands are shown for prioritizing SYN packets:
iptables -t mangle -I PREROUTING -p tcp -m tcp --tcp-flags SYN,RST,ACK SYN -j MARK --set-mark 0x1
iptables -t mangle -I PREROUTING -p tcp -m tcp --tcp-flags SYN,RST,ACK SYN -j RETURN
Shouldn''t the "-I" option really be "-A"? Like so:
iptables -t mangle -A

Trouble with Ubuntu 15.10 / syslinux 6.03
Hi,
I'm looking for a hint about what has changed in syslinux 6.03.
Some years ago I had written a script that configures a bootable USB
pen drive with syslinux and some boot images, which still worked well
under Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and previous versions, but does not work
anymore under Ubuntu 15.10 with syslinux 6.03.
I've boiled this down to a test-script that isolates the problem:

PHP bindings on Ubuntu 15.10
Hi folks,
Did anyone try building the PHP bindings on Ubuntu 15.10 using the
instructions on http://trac.xapian.org/wiki/FAQ/PHP%20Bindings%20Package
recently?
I get a few errors. Before I get deeper into it, I wanted to know if the
documentation was up to date.

Any simple solutions (without using python/perl/unix script/...)?

Why not qos for downloading stream??
HI there
Simple question :-)
Why there is always only qos examples for upload and not download stream
of adsl?
I have a linux router which shares 5 wireless "customers" my neighbours
and me to
one adsl link 512kbps download 128kbps upload ...
Now does it make sense to do qos on the linux router for download for us?
Say if someone is using ssh from outside ...
So I tried to apply the

getParseData() for installed packages
I can't seem to reliably obtain parse data via getParseData() for
functions from installed packages. The parse data seems to be available
only for the *last* file in the package.
See [1] for a small example package with just two functions f and g in
two files a.R and b.R. See [2] for a documented test run on installed
package (Ubuntu 15.10, UTF-8 locale, R 3.2.3). Same behavior with

Some questions about phase ordering in OPT and LLC
Hi,
I'm a PhD student doing phase ordering as part of my PhD topic and I
would like to ask some questions about LLVM.
Executing the following command to see what passes does OPT execute when
targeting a SPARC V8 processor:
/opt/clang+llvm-3.7.1-x86_64-linux-gnu-ubuntu-15.10/bin/llvm-as <
/dev/null | /opt/clang+llvm-3.7.1-x86_64-linux-gnu-ubuntu-15.10/bin/opt
-O3 -march=sparc -mcpu=v8
