2 gb size limit
To All any help would be appreciated,
I am running Redhat Linux Advanced Server release 2.1AS
I do a uname -a and get the following 2.4.18-14smp
I have samba 2.2.7-3.7.2
I have setup a share going from linux to windows and it seems to work fine
up to 2 gig
when it hits 2 gig it stops. Do I need to upgrade to a newer release of
samba.

Can't Figure out why rsync job stops
...ng the job smaller. Changing to different folder with
different file, but It always acts like this.
I am running rsync version 2.6.0 protocol version 27 on all of the
servers. My to offsite servers, and local backup server.
Here is the OS information for the servers.
Local: Linux version 2.4.18-14smp (bhcompile@stripples.devel.redhat.com)

Working Offsite: Linux version 2.4.20-18.7

Please Help with Secondary Groups
System:
I am running RedHat 8.0 (2.4.18-14smp) with SAMBA 2.7 and user
authentication against OpenLDAP 2.1.22.
Problem:
On RedHat, Put over (I think 70 or so) users within a secondary group.
Got to Konqueror or Nautilus and try to change
a directory's permissions to that group with over 70 or so users in it,
(it may be 80 or 90 users), Y...

Weird problem with my code....

I feel as though I've done something stupid but I cannot see what it is.
Code below. I would appreciate some R brainbox letting me know where
I've gone wrong. (I already looked at the FAQ, the mailing lists and the
bug lists [a bit]).
My setup: R1.7.0 on RedHat Linux (2.4.18-14smp)
gcc version 3.2 20020903 (Red Hat Linux 8.0 3.2-7)
Although the problem was reported to me on R1.6.2 in Linux 7.1
Here is the C code (save as CScalFn.c and compiled using R CMD SHLIB,
then dyn.load("CScalFn.so") )

R-1.7.1 gets installed without default packages & without readline
Hi all,
Trying to install R-1.7.1 on a RedHat 8.0 platform, I have a few problems.
R gets installed without default packages (but base and ctest) : make
script fails at the end of the procedure (configure is made
successfully). This is the (translated) log I have :
