...ot not crashing but has wrong behaviour? I would like to help and provide useful info, but it depends on kind of problem.
> I think if a classic setup is not working in dovecot any more, this is a serious problem.
In you first email to this thread it says:
> Feb 8 08:45:37 hostname dovecot[14882]: imap(myuser): Fatal: master: service(imap): child 14135 killed with signal 6 (core dumped)
So imap is crashing and even dumping a core.
Also I must disagree with your mbox+procmail statement. mbox has always been very unoptimised mailbox format and everyone should be emphasised not to use it.

Problem with tinc.log and logrotate.
Hi everyone again.
I run tinc with the following command:
/usr/sbin/tincd -d1 --logfile=/var/log/tinc.log
That creates the file "/var/log/tinc.log" correctly and reports into it.
Well, because I want to have a log file by day, I have created a logrotate
file (/etc/logrotate.d/tinc) that contains the following lines:
-----------------------------------------
/var/log/tinc.log {

[LLVMdev] Small patch for silencing delete warning
...nsigned) {
return ::operator new(s);
}
Is a placeholder for a future optimization on storing User (I think I have
seen something like this on the list). Else completely removing the
new/delete stuff in class User would be best
)

Change of controller name and SEO issue
Hi,
I developed an app with cetain controller names. Now that the app is
catching up I''m trying to change the controller names to be better aligned
with the business.
This is what I have now.

New to dovecot, little luck - signal 10 death for imap
Hi,
I'm a new prospective dovecot user. I'm planning to migrate a medium-scale
mail site (a few thousand users) from UW to something better.
I've set up dovecot on a test system. I can connect and authenticate just
fine. IMAP clients get to see the right mailboxes.
However, whenever a mailbox is selected, the imap subprocess dies.
The log shows:

Problem using ofstream in C++ class in package for MacOS X
Dear all,
I am currently learning how to create R packages using C++ classes.
For this purpose I have written a small package MyClass (which I try
to attach since I do not have access to a website).
MyClass has methods WriteFileC() and WriteFileCpp() which implement
C-style and C++-style writing of a table to a file using FILE or
ofstream respectively, and the corresponding R-functions
