color of axis lines (PR#1470)
Full_Name: Robert Gray
Version: 1.4.1
OS: Windows NT 4.0
Submission from: (NULL) (155.52.45.116)
I can't seem to get axis tick marks in any color except black (I want to make
plots for a slide presentation using a dark background.) Below is a simple
example. I have tried this using postscript in the Windows version of R 1.4.1
and a version of R 1.4.0 compiled on a Sun-Solaris system.

Mods that allow R scripts
...en as:
#!/usr/local/lib/R/bin/R.bin --script
cat("Hello, World!\n");
The mods required to enable this aren't particularly major.
(Adds about 70 lines of code, IIRC.) Anyone else interested
in adding this to the R core?

Can R read data from stdin?
Is there anyway I can write a script which feed input datasource from stdin
and let R process it (maybe frequency report) then output the report to
stdout?
I can't seem to find much info on documentation or FAQ on this topic.
Thanks!

allow you to write shell scripts in R (at least on *nix systems)
by putting
#!/path/to/R.bin --script
on the first line of the script file. If you're interested
