i_blocks error during fsck
...Everything was clean
except for /dev/hda5, which had many fsck warnings like so:
Inode 8387: i_blocks is 2, should be 0. FIXED
(sorry, don't have the exact text, but that was the gist of it)
Those errors occurred for a lot of inodes (70+), a lot of them
numbered sequentially (8387->8393, 14424->1453, etc). For most
of these inodes, i_blocks was 2 and should have been 0 -- other
variations included i_blocks at 36 when it should have been 34,
and 76 instead of 2. According to fsck, all the problems that
it detected were fixed.
As far as I can remember, the only unusual activity that

bwplot puts the bars in the wrong place
Dear R-Help,
With the attached data set, I am still getting incorrect bwplots
> xyplot(gdf$tt~gdf$OnHour |gdf$Runway, data=gdf) # Is correct
> bwplot(gdf$tt~gdf$OnHour |gdf$Runway, data=gdf, horizontal=FALSE) #
Puts the boxes on the wrong x-axis values
# look especially at 0 and 3. How do I fix this?
What is happening?
Thanks,
Jim Rome

3.6.10 file handle leak under ancient 32-bit kernel
Hello,
I've come across a curious issue with
Samba 3.6.10.
When running 'emacs' version
GNU Emacs 23.3.1 (i386-mingw-nt6.0.6002) of 2011-03-10 on 3249CTO
on Windows Server 2008 SP2 x64 and issuing
a file "revert" of one sort or another
against a Samba-served file, the 'smbd'
process leaks two or three handles.
Eventually, when 16k handles are open,
this causes
