I tried both X_lite and Firefly softphone, but phones do give me sounds when

Any suggestions on what might be wrong?

IP address getting overridden by Samba and domain member?
...running SQL Server 2005 to
service a legacy application. The virtual machine implements a virtual "router" which dhcp
assigns an IP to the XP: 10.0.2.15 (host name: traverse). In the VM I have configured
port-forwarding to forward requests made to the Linux VM host (192.168.02) on port 1433 to the
VM port 1433.
>From domain workstations you cannot access the SQL Server via 10.0.2.15:1433. You can, however,

No problem, I thought. I created an 'A' record in the zone file as:

Hello list members,
Over the past 12 hours my firewall box has had over 300 hits to port 1434 from numerous ip''s. I ran tcpdump on a couple of them and it looks like the ms-sql exploit attempt. I don''t use ms-sql. I''ve always gotten a few hits per day, but now it''s gotten out of control.
I use logcheck to email the system logs to me and at this rate by the

application/server doesn't support launching the service over SSL. This
has some issues; so I'm probing for ideas on a new feature that would
resolve them and make this easier.
Let's hypothesize that you have 100 database servers serving MySQL
(TCP:3306) and MS SQL 2005 (TCP:1433). These are as follows:
10.10.30.[50-100]:3306 - MySQL
10.10.40.[75-125]:1433 - MS SQL 2000/2005
To deal with this, you set up on each machine 100 virtual network
adapters that don't route outside:
192.168.30.[50-100] - 10.10.30.[50-100] mates
192.168.40.[75-125] - 10.10.40.[75-125] mates...

Samba-4.3 AD-DC Win7pro clients not time syncing
We have a Samba-4.3 AD-DC hosted on a FreeBSD-10.3 system. We have
just discovered that for some reason our domain workstations are not
synchronising their time with the AD-DC. We have not altered the
default GPO nor have we created a special GPO to handle time services.
I have been working on several of the domain clients and I cannot seem
to get them to source from the Samba server. I have

Ftp Broken in Dmz
I have had a web server listining sql-1433, www 80,
ftp-21 using proxy arp with sub-netting in a three interface DMZ.
All these ports are in the rules file as ACCEPT.
With one exeception that 1433 allows a few host from
the net. 21 and 80 allow all net to dmz connections.
The policy is DMZ to net ACCEPT
