I apologize, Stefan. I missed the beginning of your TFTP service log which shows MEMDISK and the .ISO requests. The log came through all mashed together on my e-mail client. Not too sure what to suggest, since your TFTP doesn't give any errors about those files. - Shao

With winetricks I have installed : VBRUN6 (required), OLE2, ODBC(required). ...But I suspect that part of the problem may be running out of memory in zone-normal, which I know will cause swap storms. (An oops in the log file suggests that is where memory was tight.) I had low memory protection set to 150MB, and have increased that to 256MB. (I had to increase it to at least 135MB previously, else dd if=/dev/zero of=/tempfile.tmp would start a swap storm that would bring the machine to its knees.) More users will be added to this machine, and I am worried about having an ever higher percentage of this (16GB maximum) machine in zone high. So I am considering moving it from...

Hi, Need help on data recovery. Suddenly my disk device's geometry has been changed to something that doesnot make any sense. Its a 1.8TB in size and had only one single partition. Now I can see 3 partitions sde1, sde2 and sde2 of sizes 130M, 140GB and 10GB. Is there any way to recover data from these newly created disk devices? Thanks Paras.
