CPU Compatibility Question
...ts, but they all seem to fail after udev starts up (or tries to). On the other hand, I was able to boot CentOS 7.0 1511 from the Live CD. According to the compatibility chart over here: https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/intel ...anything later than 6.3 (6.4 and up) should work with the E3-12xx v3 family of processors. But those are not the results I am seeing. Does anyone have experience or commentary on this compatibility issue? Thanks, --Bill

Goto mask
...ike to execute the same logic, there is the way to use the Goto (or any other) command without changing the ${EXTEN}? Eg. DID range is 1200-1349 -> call Macro(disca), what mask to use? (I just got it with 2 masks, but I didn't wanted to duplicate the dialplan for both) [test] exten => _12XX,1,Set(DIR=3) exten => _12XX,n,Set(GROUP(flux)=internal) exten => _12XX,n,Macro(disca) exten => _13[0-4]X,1,Goto(1200,1) ; what to put here to go to 12XX ?? The example above would not work because it will try to call 1200 always for the 13[0-4]X mask, since it will change the ${EXTEN} v...

[DB] Insert only one prefix for multiple numbers?
Hello Some of our customers bought a bunch of phone numbers whose prefix is the same, eg. 555-12xx -> 555-1200, 555-1201, etc. There's a telco name for this, but I forgot what it's called (think it's DID in ISDN.) To avoid having to input all those numbers in the DB in the cidname group, is there a way to have Asterisk translate any such number to the same CID name? I'm think...

Ring-Answer with Polycom 501 and Asterisk
Hi Guys This has been discussed a little in the list before so my apologies for sendig it again but I have done what others have done in the list but to no avail. I have configured Asterisk to send the callerID of extension phones as "firstname lastname" and that seems to work well and extensions show calls originating on other extensions in this format. I set the following in

Anyone know of complete hardware solution based IDE Raid Controllers?
Years ago Accusys made an IDE raid controller that presented itself as one drive to the BIOS, making the unit completely OS agnostic. Anything like that out there, anymore? Cheers, Brett.
