Hi all, I have just tried with a fresh install and samba 4.5.7 on the domain member server: and it worked! The domain join succeeded, and krb5.keytab IS created. So what is going on here? MJ

...e download site.   I also remove the 4.6.1 and 4.6.2 packages due to the found regression bug. These packages are not usable with a new install, but are when you perform an upgrade. I disabled the 4.6.2 downloads because of this bug. https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12685 If you want to upgrade samba to 4.6.2, then it works fine since the keytab is already created, but with a new install the bug appears.
