Data separated by spaces, getting data into R using field lengths
I have a text file similar to this (separated by spaces): x <- "DF12 This is an example 1 This DF12 This is an 1232 This is DF14 This is 12334 This is an DF15 This 23 This is an example " and I know the field lengths of each variable (there is 5 variables in this data set), which are: varlength <- c(2, 2, 18, 5, 18) How can I import this kind of data into R, using the varlength variable as an field separator indicator?

mySQL-sipfriend dials to another SIP-endpoint - How to set the from-user
...sip phone. I turned on sip debug and discovered, that in the last case in the SIP-header to the called phone: From: "Unknown" <sip:Unknown@... I put in a noOp(${CALLERID}) and found in both case reasonable callerids. I even set the callerid with setCallerID("test user"<12334>) to absolute identical values: When call comes from PSTN, those values are displayed in the outgoing SIP header (and finally the called sip phone). When call comes from SIP, there is still "unknown" displayed in the outgoing SIP header (and nothing in the called sip phone). How can...

Emails redownloading
Hi, recently, we had a problem on one of our mail servers and, after reboot, HDD with emails wasn't mounted into system. Until we fixed it, LOTS of users logged in (Dovecot allowed login and recreated directory structure of mailboxes) and saw empty mailboxes. Now they are redownloading all email, which isn't fun, as it's about 2 TB of data. Anyway, is there a way how to

Indexing Mail faster
Hi, I am trying to get faster search results on our webmail client(Roundcube). Besides using Lucene for FTS are there other options? Would having all mails indexed give fast results? Currently the time it takes to search 25,000mails is 4mins. If indexed how much faster are we looking at? Really appreciate if someone could advise about this. Thanks Kevin
