Can't get 'load.off' to turn off power to the PC: CyberPower 1200AVR
I'm running Network UPS Tools 2.2.0 on a Linux machine, running
CentOS 4.5 (RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.5), with a kernel version
2.6.9.
I believe I have the software setup and configured properly. I
can access the UPS via the upsc (client) tool, upscmd, upsmon,
etc. Even the CGI pages provide me with the ups status, etc.
However, when I try to shut off the load using the load.off

SVN Newhidups driver
Hi,
I recently installed a new cyberpower 1200AVR ups using the newhidups
driver I built from the subversion source.
I am recieving the following error on start up
dstate_setflags: base variable (ups.beeper.status) does not exist
dstate_setaux: base variable (ups.beeper.status) does not exist
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Hello all,
Some time ago, you all were very helpful in getting nut running on an OpenBSD
system, using--for what it's worth--a CyberPower 1500AVR.
So I finally got my FreeBSD system's UPS, also a CyberPower 1500AVR, within

out a lot of interesting things.
I have a 1200AVR. I found out from the website that you can program
Windows XP to use it as a contact-closure type of UPS. The generic
windows custom UPS settings are: Power Fail/On Battery - Negative, Low
Battery - Negative, UPS Shutdown - Positive.
I checked these settings with a serial port monitor. When the...

I have only twice seen a 0764/0005 unit. The first was a Cyberpower
900AVR, in a post by Lincoln Turner on 13 Apr 2006 to Nut-upsdev. The
second was a Cyberpower 1200AVR in a post by Doug Reynolds on 27 Jul
2006.
This device announces itself as a "RS232 USB BRIDGE", so it is highly
unlikely that it is a HID device. It looks like a serial-over-USB
protocol. Therefore, the newhidups driver does not support it.
Doug Reynolds reported that he got this to w...
