[LLVMdev] pb05 benchmarks for llvm/dragonegg 3.2
Duncan,
With the commit from http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/llvm-commits/Week-of-Mon-20121203/158488.html,
the Polyhedron 2005 benchmarks complete again on x86_64-apple-darwin12. The result are similar to what
were seen with FSF gcc 4.6.2svn and llvm/dragonegg 3.0 (which was the last release that passed pb05)
http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/llvmdev/2011-October/044091.html.

aggregate function not working?
The aggregate function for some reason will now work for me.
The error I'm getting is:

Have you called 'sort' on a list?"

Stats 101 : lm with/without intercept
I am puzzled at the use of regression. I have a categorical variable
ClassePop33000 which factors a Population variable into 3 levels. I want to
investigate whether that categorical variable has some relation with my
dependent variable, so I go :
lm(Cout.ton ~ ClassePop33000, data=ech2)
Call:
lm(formula = Cout.ton ~ ClassePop33000, data = ech2)
Residuals:

Clogit or LRM?
Hello
I believe that I'm getting very close in my modeling application.
I've come across a challenge that I am unable to solve and would really
appreciate the group's opinion.
I've been using the val.prob function from the Design library (Thanks
Frank!!) to both evaluate and visualize my model.
From the scores and graph, it appears as my model is very accurate in

question about the results given by the Box.test?
Hello, I am using the Ljung Box test in R to compute
if the resiudals of my fitted model is random or not.
I am not sure though what the results mean, I have
looked at various sources on the internet and have
come up with contrasting explanations (mainly because
these info deal with different program languages, like
SAS, SPSS, etc).
I know that my residuals should appropriate white

Correlation Matrix with a Covariate
R Help -
I'm trying to run a correlation matrix with a covariate of "age" and will
at some point will also want to covary other variables concurrently.
I'm using the "psych" package and have tried other methods such as writing
a loop to extract semi-partial correlations, but it does not seem to be
working. How can I accomplish this?

lattice --- different properties of lines corresponding to type=c("l", "a") respectively
I think the subject says it all. I want to make a simple lattice plot,
using xyplot with the
argument type=c("l","a").
The problem then is that in the resulting plot it is
difficult/impossible to see which plot corresponds to the average
and which to the individual profiles. I triedthings like extra
arguments lwd=c(1,3) or col=c("blue","red")
