significance in difference of proportions
Hello, I'm looking for some guidance with the following problem: I've 2 samples A (111 items) and B (10 items) drawn from the same unknown population. Witihn A I find 9 "positives" and in B 0 positives. I'd like to know if the 2 samples A and B are different, ie is there a way to find out whether the number of "positives" is significantly different in A and B?...

[Patches]mesa/nv30: Diverse set of patches that improve NV3x render quality
For all these patches I'd say: testers are welcome. The first three patches seem good enough to push as we speak IMHO (so if you agree, go ahead!), whereas for the fourth I don't know if this is the desired way to fix. The result of these four patches is that NV34 gives a nearly-correct desktop experience, where only some fading animations appear broken. It's quite useable now! [1/4]:

[PATCH] btrfs-progs: use btrfs error code for kernel errors
Now with the below kernel patch, the excl operations like dev add/replace/resize and balance returns the btrfs error code defined in btrfs.h, this patch will help btrfs-progs (and thus user) to know the error string on the terminal (instead of /var/log/messages as previously kernel did). This patch depends on the btrfs kernel patch: btrfs: return btrfs error code for dev excl ops err

TISviaPAM patch
Here is a patch that does TIS auth via PAM. It's controlled by a switch in the sshd_config. You'd use it by having a PAM module that sets PAM_PROMPT_ECHO_ON. eg, you could use it with pam_skey or pam_smxs. The patch is against the 2.9.9p2 distribution. I'm not on the list, a reply if this patch is accepted would be great. (But not required, I know some folks have a distaste for

SIP 603 response when call is not answered
Hi I have noticed that asterisk returns 'SIP 603' when the called party does not answer. My test setup is simple: two SIP phones (extensions: 100 and 111) registered to an Asterisk 1.8.30.0 gateway. The Dial timeout is 30 seconds. When 100 calls 111 and after 30 seconds, asterisk sends a CANCEL request to 111 (expected) and a '603 Decline' response to 100 (unexpected & misleading). It seems to me that a'480 Temporarily unavailable'...
