ConfBridge 11.7 and 11.8
11.7 is working fine for me. I put on 11.8 and my "confbridge" that should be "muted" to users now sounds un-muted or like I am getting feedback. Did something change there??? swapping with data.frame
Hi there, I have some data which are convenient to enter as lists. For example: t1<-list(fname="animal1",testname="hyla",dspkr="left",res1=39.7,res2=15.0) t2<-list(fname="animal1",testname="bufo",dspkr="left",res1=14.4,res2=56.1)

webrtc not working with asterisk 11.8 + jssip/sipml5
users are registering over ws:// but while dialing A -> B , using either jssip/sipml5 I receive an error on B side saying , ice related information is missing , and in INVITE sdp mentioned fields are really missing. Exact error in console is SetRemoteDescription failed: Called with an SDP without ice-ufrag and ice-pwd lots of users are using webrtc with jssip/sipml5 + asterisk successfully.

Signaling tones in Speex
Hi all, Has anyone tried conveying signaling tones (DTMF) through speex? If so, can i get an idea of the lowest bit-rate at which I can do so with 'tolerable distortion'. G.728 does so and G.729E (11.8 Kbps mode) is 'claimed' to do so but even if true, G.729 (rather G.729I - 11.8/8/6.4 kbps) does not allow me to go below 6.4 kbps if needed. Basically I am looking for a single codec

Signaling tones in Speex
Hi Jean, Thats great news for me to start off with as I was planning to go with 16 Kbps ADPCM keeping in mind the issues and options I had. Now, whether the additional computation cost is worth the significant bandwidth savings, I have to see. Just wondering if it is possible to extend this logic to G3 and G4 fax as well, i.e. using a higher bit-rate and complexity mode for modem or fax instead of

multi-regression with more than 50 independent variables
Hi R Users, I am going to run a multiple linear regression with around 57 independent variables. Each time I run the model with just 11 variables, the results are reasonable. With increasing the number of independent variables more than 11, the coefficients will get ?NA? in the output. Is there any limitation for the number of independent variables in multiple linear regressions in R? I attached

dahdi + dlink du128ta
hello everyone, I do have a usb ISDN modem that I would like to make it work with dahdi. is it possible? I am running debian 7, with dahdi 2.9, asterisk 11.8 dahdi cannot find it at the moment, unless there is something else to be done. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... how to convert a data.frame to a list of dist objects for individual differences MDS?
I have a 45 x 16 data frame consisting of dissimilarities among 10 colors, giving in each column the 45 = 10*9/2 pairwise judgments for one of 16 subjects. The rownames identify each pair of colors, e.g, "AC" = ("A","C"), and the pairs are ordered by columns in the lower triangle of each distance matrix. > helm.raw <-

Signaling tones in Speex
In case a system is incapable of fax relay or if it is disabled, one of the easiest and safest options is to go for 40 kbps ADPCM compression (for fax upto 14.4 kbps)..even am new to this problem and the fair bit of seraching which i've done seems to suggest that the standard sloutions are to simply 'bypass' it else compress using ADPCM (40 k for fax upto 14.4 k, 32 k for fax upto 9.6

Asterisk Fax Receive - how to get the remoteheader?
Hi, I am using asterisk 11.8 in combination with spandsp to send and receive T38 Faxes. All works fine, but I do not know how to get the remoteheader from the fax I receive. When I send a fax, there are Faxopts to set the localstationid and the headerinfo, but for receiving, there seems to only exist the Faxopts remotestationid but for sure on any fax I receive there is a remoteheaderinfo

Systematically biased count data regression model
Dear all, I am attempting to explain patterns of arthropod family richness (count data) using a regression model. It seems to be able to do a pretty good job as an explanatory model (i.e. demonstrating relationships between dependent and independent variables), but it has systematic problems as a predictive model: It is biased high at low observed values of family richness and biased low at

If you compile to IR then pass "opt -time-passes" you can get a

Signaling tones in Speex
Hi Mainak, Speex will definitely be able to handle DTMF. The only question is what the minimum rate for that will be. I remember testing on a few tones at 8 kbps and I didn't hear too much distortion (though there have have been). The only thing I can recommend is to use a higher complexity setting that one would normally use. For voice, I can't really tell the difference between quality
