xen on suse 9.3 and software raid
Has anyone had issues starting xen0 on a md? I have installed it a few times now w/ and w/o raid. Anytime I have a raid1 mirror, Xen panics on boot when trying to mount /. It gets past waiting for /dev/md0 to appear. John _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Running dtrace sript for defined period of time?
Hello, I''m building some simple monitoring tools to watch zfs storage servers. Is this possible to run dtrace script for example 10 seconds? (Of course it is, I just trying to figure out how). Right know it has to be stopped by "CTRL-C" I''m particulary interested in scripts like iscsiio.d, iscsiwho.d from

File and console output does not work in C code
Hello all, I am getting into trouble when trying to do standard I/O from a C function called within R environment. This function is written in a small C library that is loaded whith dyn.load() and called in R via the .C() interface. I need to debug the C code using a text file for some logs, and also to speed up its result visualization by creating images on the fly using the GD library. Both

Calculation time of isoMDS and the optimal number of dimensions
Dear all, I'm running a set of nonparametric MDS analyses, using a wrapper for isoMDS, on a 800x800 distance matrix. I noticed that setting the parameter k to larger numbers seriously increases the calculation time. Actually, with k=10 it calculates already longer than for k=2 and k=5 together. It's now calculating for 6 hours, and counting... There is quite a difference between the

timestamp vs vtimestamp
Hello all, I''m looking for answers about a question that i did post on ZFS/UFS discuss... without success, now i''m here to see your points. Any tips? As you know, i''m making some "screencasts" about a few solaris features. That screencasts is one point of many tests that i''m making with solaris 10. Now, with some tests with dtrace, i have saw a

iterate_query not working
Hi, I have got iterate_query defined in dovecot-sql.conf.ext. However when I run a command like: doveadm search -A BEFORE 10d I receive an error message (Failed to iterate ...) There is an error message in a log file too: Error: Trying to iterate users, but userdbs don't support it The problem is that monitoring a database server shows that dovecot does not try to execute any query. StripMSD or extension parser bug?
...d on Friday to the latest CVSHEAD, this no longer works. If I send 13115552368 to this context, I get a message like pbx.c: Channel 'Zap/361-1' sent into invalid extension '3115552368' in context 'outtrunk', but no invalid handler I tried adding a separate line to match 10D: exten => _XXXXXXXXXX,1,Dial,Zap/g1/${EXTEN} but the same call generated a "timeout". I don't know if this is a bug in StripMSD, extension parsing, or user error.

Using Asterisk as a replacement for a Merlin Legend.
I was just about to replace 2 Merlin Legend systems (one in my house and one in my Parent's house) with * systems. I have 2 beefy linux systems ready to go and have enough Cisco 7960 and 7970 phones to replace all my MLX-10D, MLX-16D and MLX-20 phones. Then I discovered that * seems to be lacking a critical feature for replacing a legend (or any standard PBX) and that is an ability for a user to see if another user is on his or her phone or if a trunk is in use. I am not sure if this is where I should address this...
