Courier migrating issues: indexes, maildirsize, update query

Dovecot uses this for POP3 primarily but this will no doubt cause a lot
of overhead on our platform. Also getting this to work with our NFS
setup would be a pain (locking etc.). I've been following this

it ends with C. Malony suggesting that an disable index option would be
in place; but no further action is taken. Basically I want to get rid of
the index files (courier also doesn't use any). Any suggestions; will
there be a disable-index option?

logs such as messages, boot.log, and kernel contained 0 size
Hi,
My both CentOS 5 servers have logging problems. Logs such as messages, boot.log, kernel, spooler, and tallylog in /var/log directory are all 0 size.
The kernel is: Linux 2.6.18-92.1.22.el5 #1 SMP.
Since the /var/log/messages contained no information it would be impossible to troubleshoot the problem.
I am very sure both systems have not been hacked by others.

redirect_to weirdness?
In my rails app I issue a redirect_to
"http://www.otherdomain.com/getinfo.php" to invoke a php script that
will in turn ultimately send control back to my rails app with some
information.
However I am noticing that getinfo.php seems to be cached or something.
It returns the same stale result time and again unless I manuall tell my
browser to refresh the page and enter it manually.

can't recall where i got it from , but this should work .,
