Invalid quota rule using "backend"
Using a quota rule like "quota_rule = *:backend=1073741824S" (I'm
testing it statically but the value is on LDAP) I receive an an error:
Fatal: IMAP(...): Quota root QUOTA: Invalid rule: *:backend=1073741824S

possible quota bug ?
Hi,
I'm using dovecot 2.2.5 with quota (maildir backend), zlib and expunge plugins.
When I list maildirsize file, I get:
1073741824S
17952 16
If I receive a new message (example: 1204 bytes compressed and 2524 bytes plain text), the quota file is write correctly (2524 1 entry). When I move the message to trash folder (or between user custom folders) the file have wrong entries:
1073741824S
17952 16
2524 1
1204 1 (this is the...

Conflict -> Dovecot + Maildrop (maildirsize)
...and updates the
'maildirsize' file. When i use dovecot (webmail, thunderbird) it updates
the 'maildirsize' too, overwriting it, but in a different way.
Both programas don't use the same pattern for 'maildirsize'.
Let me show:

quota-warning: possible to have size also?
Hello Community,
My dovecot setup works fine with quotas and quota-warning.
I have a questions though: when running the warning script, the example
foundis it possible to pass the *quota size *as argument also? This
would be useful with per-user quota.
e.g. /some/script xx% username *xxxbytes* (order is not relevant of course)
Thank you for your help.
Cheers

Getting maildir++ quotas working
...he maildirsize file in my maidir, and it seems to
show correct storage used calculations, but the first line which should
contain my storage limits is blank. So I suspect that I am not returning
a valid quota value from the user database. I am returning what my old
Courier-IMAP wants to see "1073741824S,4000C"... if the format for Dovecot
is different, what should the format be?
So there are two problems that I am trying to resolve, but I'm not sure
how to go about fixing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated:
(1) Dovecot isn't announcing QUOTA support in the capability string....

Maildirsize not updated
Hello dovecot
Problem : maildirsize and dovecot quota get have different values
dovecot version : 2.2.13
happens with : some mailboxes
This issue happens only to some mailboxes and only for a specific period of time until maildirsize gets updated by something (not me). I can't reproduce this now because it happened this morning and now its 2 PM and the problem is gone

quota-warning: possible to have size also?
Hi,
I'am using a Maildir++ based quota setting which creates a maildirsize file in every Maildir. The first two lines of this file are the maximum quota in bytes then the actual consumption in bytes and number of messages, like so :
1073741824S
379317999 5169
This means this user has a quota of 1Gb and he is using ~ 379 Mb (you have to divide by 1024 to be more precise)
Since the script receieves the user as second argument, you can deduce it's current quota size and restriction by reading the maildirsize file (if you have it). I...
