UID mapping inconsistent. - Samba 3.6.24/25
...= no
winbind use default domain = yes
winbind nested groups = Yes
allow trusted domains = no
user in question gets UID 2091888. He gets same UID on linux machine
running Samba 4.2.10-Debian and a different Solaris machine running
Samba 4.4.6
On two other production machines he gets
10420 one one and 10389 on the other.
I do not understand why UIDs are being pulled from the "*" section and
not the "CSUNET" section as they should be.
Any thoughts on this...other than upgrade Samba that is.
Thank you
Bob

Asterisk stops responding
I am having a problem with an Asterisk 1.6.2.15 server that runs a small
call center with Queuemetrics. In the past month we've had this problem 3
times.
The problem is that Asterisk simply stops responding. No calls in or out
and you cannot even get to the CLI. The process seems to be running but there
is simple no activity. All I see in the log files is:

Check a boolean in the view
I know i probably shouldnt be doing this and maybe should move this to a
helper or to the controller but how do i set a flag in the view.
So for the code below im checking if x=y and if so then render a partial
and set a flag called check = true.
in the else then i want to output some text and then reset the boolean
back to false.
Can this be done? Whats the best way to this?

rc31 -> "deferring operation: binding"
I hate to bring up anything that might delay 1.0, but the behavior I'm
seeing is rather... weird.
I'm running rc31, using "userdb static" and "auth_bind=yes".
With rc1 (what I had been running) I would occasionally get some
"deferring operation" complaints from LDAP, but very rarely. Every
now and then it would start to throw "deferring operation:

changing kickoff time
Hello everybody,
we moved our samba server to a new machine. This included changing the
samba version from 3.024 to 3.4.2 and changing the OS from Linux to
Opensolaris.
Samba was compiled from scratch. Passdb Backend is tdb.
After the upgrade everything works fine......except:
Some users can not login, due to an expired account.
Further investigation showed that the "Kickoff Time"
