stuck on Samba 3.5.x
...s me from using
3.6.x, as I'm unable to join the AD domain;
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10079 prevents me from using
4.0 as this bug is making it impossible to interoperate with squid
(however, it joins the domain just fine); and finally
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10287 prevents me from using
4.1, as the net utility is crashing on the join operation.
Unfortunately, all of these bugs didn't get almost any attention, could
please someone take a brief look at them and probably tell me how to
improve them in order to make them more developer-friendly ?

Migrations suddenly broken: undefined method autoload_paths
I really need some help here because I am at a loss. I have been using
migrations just fine now for a while and I suddenly started getting a
very bizarre error when migrations are run:
undefined method `autoload_paths='' for Dependencies:Module
I have tried rolling back my application code, and rolling back the
rails edge revision I am running but neither seem to help.
I have

CPU consumption by samba
Hi,
I'm having strange performance problems with samba and an application written
with VisualFox Pro.
This application is entirely installed in a Windows share and it has a hystory
of strange phenomenons.
Initially it ran fast on an old NT server (but that server has been replaced).
It has strange performance problems with Windows 2000 Server: it runs fast
with some servers and slow with
