FW: Logwatch for XXXXXXX.kd4efm.org (Linux)
Found an error or two from my logwatch report from yesterday,
thought I would share this in hopes this is just first time
run of the problem I noticed in the Kernel report section...
Also not sure why there's an issue with automount either....
but I guess I could ask on that issue as well.
I am not worried about the NAMED error, this is something that
happens due to one of the services that

Last call for Syslinux 3.70
Hi all,
I have just released syslinux-3.70-pre25. Unless someone has something
big and scary that either I have managed to miss or was just stumbled
over, I'm going to release 3.70 final some time between tomorrow and Monday.
Thus, *please holler now* if there are any stop-ship problems still known...

remote port forwarding unstable
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, maybe someone noticed it also...
I always do a remote port forwarding with openssh on 1026 port let's
say ( ssh -R 1026:localhost:55555 ). Most times the port is opened on
remote machine. But sometimes i notice that ssh can't do remote port
forwarding to that port 1026. I looked on the remote machine (netstat
-an) and no one is using that port, so the port is free.

I have generated two .RDATA files from StatTransfer and have noticed that

By the way, thanks to you for your documentation, which helped me a lot
resolving this issue.

>>> Original message:
I've found many messages around the "File system error (1026)" in Windows
98, but no one gives any answer. And referring to MS Knowledge base is
unusefull, because this solution is not given on their site (hope it will be
though).
This issue is met in countries such as Switzerland (where I am), and many
other European countries, because the translated...

File System Error [1026]
...m using Windows 98 and can map my home directory to a drive letter, but
I observe several strange behaviors. The log files are suspicisuoly void
of any information.
1) When I try to copy a simple file 'test.c' from the linux directory to
the windows machine, I get a 'File System Error [1026]' error. And cannot
copy the file.
2) When I try to descend into a directory on the linux directory I get a
'The Folder E:/test does not exist'
3) When I open some files, directly, it works, but some files, such as a
word document give me a 'File could not be found' error
