How to "Windows Authenticate"
Hi Mark,
I haven't done it, but I've played with the scenario enough to have an
idea.
What you want to do is have Outlook auth via NTLM to Dovecot.?
First that means having the machine be a domain member (usually via Samba)
in order to properly process NTLM/Kerberos handshake - which it appears you
have.
Second that means having Dovecot know how to accept NTLM authentication
(SPA) to

--------------------------
Question 1
--------------------------
I am dealing with a database that holds products and it has a datetime
field called "active_at". so I have the following for active_at:
<%= f.datetime_select :active_at %>
It gives me 5 different params:
params[:product][:active_at(1i)]
params[:product][:active_at(2i)]
params[:product][:active_at(3i)]

Windows Media Player 11
Hello,
I am trying to run Windows Media Player 11 on WINE and I cant. This is the only software that I need to be windows free since my university posts the lecture videos in WMP 11 DRM format and I cant view them if I dont have WMP11 installed.
It asks for windows genuine verification. Anybody can help? I have wine 1.1.12.
Thanks in advance.

net rpc rights problem with groups
Hello List,
I have tried to grant SeMachineAccountPrivilege to an extra group.
Users in this group should not have Admin rights but they should be able to join workstations to the domain.
My first try was to grant the right to a single user wich is working as expected.
net rpc rights grant "TOPTEST\toptest.r" SeMachineAccountPrivilege -U domainadmin
net rpc rights shows:
