Unable to find driver for a supported device
Hello everyone,
I have a Tripp-Lite UPS (smart1500rmxl2ua) I'm trying to get working with nut.
This is a FreeBSD 10.3 box. I've tried using the usbhid-ups<http://networkupstools.org/docs/man/usbhid-ups.html> driver but everytime I try to start up nut, I get this:
# upsdrvctl start
Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.7.4

T-1 vs channelised T-1?
OK. Now I show my ignorance.
What's the difference between a T-1 and a channelised T-1? I see that
Covad's voip service (formerly GoBeam) requires a channelised T-1. Then
I read recently on the list that many T-1s being installed are actually
HDSL....which would be not a T-1 at all...right?

Phone system layout suggestions
I am thinking about a change to our company's phone "layout" and would like
to get comments from people who have done something similar.
Currently, we have 3 locations - each with their own Asterisk PBX. The
corporate office has a PRI. Each remote location has a SIP provider for
5 channels of SIP going to their own PBX. Interoffice calls use the PSTN.
Most inbound calls come to

Unable to find driver for a supported device
Alright. Sorry to bother you guys. Apparently after I rebooted the box, it started working now on the tripplite-usb driver. One correct also. I didn't have it installed from ports but from binary pkg. (pkg install nut)
I doubt this did anything but I did create nut.conf because it wasn't there before. I set it to standalone.
Again, sorry to bother you guys. I'm retarded.

Unfortunately, it is not very unique: the vendor can pick the string "USB UPS PPC", but the drivers

To determine the proper driver, would you please run the following usbconfig command as root? Here's an example from my UPS:
# usbconfig -d ugen0.2 dump_device_desc

DRBD NFS load issues
My NFS setup is a heartbeat setup on two servers running Active/Passive
DRBD. The NFS servers themselves are 1x 2 core Opterons with 8G ram and
5TB space with 16 drives and a 3ware controller. They're connected to a
HP procurve switch with bonded ethernet. The sync-rates between the two
DRBD nodes seem to safely reach 200Mbps or better. The processors on the
active NFS servers run with a load

Hi Roy,
It seems that I wasn''t clear. Lets give an example.
I have a machine with a single ethernet interface, with two IP addresses
A and B. This is done using two virtual interfaces.
A is my IP address in ISP-A. B is my IP address in ISP-B. The physical
line to ISP-A is 1.5Mbps. The physical line to ISP-B is 256kbps.
I want to shape the traffic so that, for example, HTTP traffic
