I have today installed WINE 1.3.37 released on 13 January 2012 and can now access the Properties of Office 2007 documents.

My system is Kubuntu 11.10. With wine 1.3.37 I had no problems. But after the recent upgrades, when I start a wine application, it blocks sound, that is, Linux-based programs have no sound when wine uses audio. I installed wine 1.3.37 again to get rid of the problem but it persists. Does anyone know what is going on? Help greatly appreciated.
