I have an old rail app which I made a few years ago. Never touched rails

Now, I need to make it work again. I used the above command to install

Versions Compatibility and RAILS_GEM_VERSION
Is there any problem with versions compatibility?
A project I started with 1.1.2 cannot run with 1.1.4.
Dreamhost recently updated their rails from 1.1.2 to 1.1.5 and 1.1.6.
Needless to say I got "Application Error". However when I changed
RAILS_GEM_VERSION to either 1.1.5 or 1.1.6, it works. (Haven''t made a
thorough checking though.)
Here it seems there is no

strange issue with backgroundrb behind apache/lighttpd
I''m getting strange data back from my worker whenever I run our rails
app with more than one dispatcher under lighttpd.
just to give some info on what the app does:

Freezing 1.1.6
I''ve been slowly working my way backwards through my troubles and I
realized that I do have access to the old server so maybe I ought to
head back there to figure some of this out.
I have an app that is running on rails 1.1.6. I want to move it to a
web host that is running 2.0.2.
The first step, it seemed to me, was to freeze it.

1.1.6 -> 1.1.7 regression: dovecot: pipe() failed: Too many open files
Hi all,
We updated to 1.1.7 a week or two back from 1.1.6 (both standard atrpms
builds). Since doing so, twice now I've seen the imap services accept
connections but they hang before the banner is printed (pop seems to be
unaffected). I see this in the logs:
Dec 23 14:02:15 mail9 dovecot: pipe() failed: Too many open files

1.1.6 Manual sampledec.c mistake
Hi,
The manual 1.1.6 of sampledec.c says that
/*Destroy the decoder state*/
speex_encoder_destroy(state);
Should it be be
/*Destroy the decoder state*/
speex_decoder_destroy(state);
instead?
