Encoder differences, beta4 -> 1.0rc1
Hi all, Were there encoder differences between beta4 and 1.0rc1? A precompiled oggenc for Windows identifies itself as beta4, and from a certain mono file produces 53.3 kb/s files, whereas one I've compiled myself, identifying itself as 1.0rc1, produces 55.9 kb/s. Is this a feature or a bug? Also, all the links to images at the top of: http://www.vorbis.com/download_win.psp are broken.

World of Warcraft in Wine 1.0rc1 with Creative x-fi
All other games have sound except wow. I recently updated to 1.0rc1 from the last version (whatever it was). I have an x-fi and the sound was working. Now for the life of me I can't get it to have sound in wow. Other games (like Guild Wars) seem to be fine. Anyone experiencing the same issue with this setup?

sine wine 1.0RC1: 4th mouse button doesn't work
Hey, since 1.0RC1 my 4th mouse button on my logitech G5 doesn't work anymore...all games that I've (BF2, Bf1942, CS:S, F.E.A.R) doesn't react when I press the 4th button...what is that for a bug? And why it haven't been fixed already? (I don't find a bug at bugzilla for this...but I don't think that I'm the only one with that problem)

Pb with ssl_disable in 1.0RC6
Hi, I have a problem after upgrading dovecot 1.0rc1 to 1.0rc6. I don't use SSL at all so I have 'ssl_disable = yes' in my configuration. This works fine in 1.0rc1 but dovecot 1.0rc6 failed to start with the following error message "dovecot: Login process died too early - shutting down". Setting 'ssl_disable = no' resolves the problem but now dovecot announce TLS

1.0rc1 location variable bug
I think I've found a bug in Dovecot 1.0 rc1 where if you have namespaces without the "location = " setting defined, it fails to use default_mail_env as it should. This seems to have been broken by :- 2006-06-16 18:13 Timo Sirainen <tss at iki.fi> * src/master/: auth-process.c, login-process.c, mail-process.c, main.c, master-settings.c: Settings parser nowadays returns

NAT + iConnectHere Broken in 1.0RC1
I've been using * CVS code from May of this year and was able to connect to iConnectHere and receive calls with * being behind NAT. Now that I've upgraded to 1.0 RC1, this no longer works. I've tried setting nat=yes in places, externip, et al with no success .. even though the code I was running from back then worked without that. Any suggestions? BTW, I've gotten DTMF from

QuickTime for Linux and vorbisfile
I recently began working on an application which will combine Ogg Vorbis with QuickTime on the Linux platform. I am using Ogg Vorbis 1.0rc1 and Adam Williams' QuickTime for Linux 1.3 library (http://www.heroinewarrior.com/quicktime.php3). I am having a strange problem. As soon as I #include <quicktime/quicktime.h>, the code causes a segmentation fault when run. When I look at it with

fastthread 0.5.3
I''ve just committed fastthread 0.5.3, which finally gives us a working SizedQueue (which hadn''t really ever worked in previous versions). Mostly it was just a matter of refactoring Queue and SizedQueue into a single class behind the scenes, so I could move the signalling of the SizedQueue-specific condition variable inside the queue''s critical section. Failing to do so

Best version for production systems?
Hi dovecotters, I have a system running 1.0rc1 right now and am having problems (more on that later). I know that 1.0.5 is "current" but I'm running Debian Stable (Etch) and have reservations of upgrading until nothing works anymore ;-) Do I really need to make the upgrade to 1.0.5, and if so can anyone here point out how to do so using the standard Debian apt-get process? --
