I ran the game from the command line and noticed the following error pop up at the moment the sound dropped out: err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x128984 "alsa.c: ALSA_MSG_RING.msg_crst" wait timed out in thread 00c3, blocked by 0000, retrying (60 sec) I can play other games using Wine with no sound problems at all, only this app is giving me problems. Any ideas?

Hey all, When I log on my sound level is set at about 35%. I have to use the sound preferences to turn the sound level up every time I log in. Other users on this same system do not have this issue. When they log in their volume is set at 100%. This leads me to believe that there must be something in my local settings that is turning down my sound volume settings. Does anyone have a clue

I downloaded and installed acpitool when I run it I get Battery Status <not available> AC Adapter <not availble> Thermal Info <not available> I was trying to find out how hot the CPU is?
