Hello,
Got PowerCOM BNT-1000AP, usb id 0d9f:00a6, firmware FW4.A6

Workaround for the corrupted Intel X48 DMAR table
hi,
I am trying the Xen unstable on X48 chipset these days but it failed due to
an corrupted RMRR table in the ACPI. The following is the acpi dump of DMAR.

USB flash drive stopped working properly....
This past Tuesday (2/22/07) my flash drive started acting really strange
- it only worked intermittently and would disappear right after an
access or two. Yesterday it stopped working altogether - I couldn't
even access it through my WinXP-on-VMWare. I rebooted my machine, and
it worked fine after that.
Is there some time limit on how long a USB flash drive will work in
CentOS or is this a

[PATCH] Handle MSI irq storm
<<handle_msi_irq_storm.patch>> Hi, Keir,
This patch handles MSI irq storm. Unluckily, I have observed this
phenomenon again. This will happen when some kind of MSI-X capable NIC
is assigned to an HVM guest. The basic idea is to mask the interrupt on
receiving the second interrupt and set a timer to unmask after 1ms.
Can you have a look and give some comments on that? Thanks!

Clear text authentication impossible???
We have an Exchange 5.5 server in our Samba 3 domain und want to have POP3
access with clear text authentication from clients.
But no kind of credentials is accepted.
It did a level 10 log on the Samba server and found my clear text password
in the log (in nt_chal_resp and lm_chal_resp fields) during authentication.
Is it possible that Samba can't handle the clear-text pass-through from

Problems with power management
I do not seem to be able to get any where with the power management
functions. I have had a look at the xenpm Wiki page, but it hasn''t
helped. Its probably something completely obvious, but I can''t see it.

Intel S5000PSL motherboard with 2 x Xeon 5410s. Dom0 is running the

PATCH 0/10: Merge PV framebuffer & console into QEMU
The following series of 10 patches is a merge of the xenfb and xenconsoled
functionality into the qemu-dm code. The general approach taken is to have
qemu-dm provide two machine types - one for xen paravirt, the other for
fullyvirt. For compatability the later is the default. The goals overall
are to kill LibVNCServer, remove alot of code duplication and/or parallel
impls of the same concepts, and
