Where is my qemu command?
...d
That command syntax is probably ot right yet, but the main question is,
where is qemu?
I was tempted to yum-install qemu from rpmforge, but I would rather not.
Besides the rpmforge version has a conflict with another manual page.

KVM, virsh attach-disk problems
...attached successfully
I have not seen any mention anywhere about using virtio drivers like
this. And the problem with this is that the new disk does not survive
guest reboot. At guest startup virsh complains about the virtio drivers.

Using racoon-negotiated IPSec with ipfw and natd
[ -netters, please Cc me or security@ with replies. ]
I'm running into trouble integrating dynamic racoon-based IPSec into a network
with ipfw and natd. I need to be able to allow VPN access from any address
from authenticated clients. I've got the dynamic VPN working, with racoon
negotiating SAs and installing SPs, but the problem is that I can't tell

Policy routing with IPFW
Hi There,
I've been having an issue trying to figure out a way to policy route
outbound packets from a multihomed machine through the proper interface
using IPFW to no avail.
I've tried several different incantations of IPFW fwd/forward
statements, and none of them seem to do the trick.
Basically, I have a host that has multiple Internet connections. This
host is running FreeBSD 4.9

Named, logging of requests

I know you can turn on logging "globally" using the logging section of
named.conf.

Switching to php53
I have a Centos 5.6 server which is using the default php packages.
These currently contain PHP 5.1.6.
My main use of PHP on the server is to support an installation of
WordPress. I currently had WP 3.1.2 installed, but the WP developers
have announced that from WP 3.2 they will only support PHP 5. and
greater.
So I investigated and found that the Centos repo contains a series of
php53 packages.

IPFW disconnections and resets
Hi,
I am using IPFW on FreeBSD 4.11
I am facing two problems:
- SSH sessions timeout after a while
- When I run "/sbin/ipfw -q -f flush" in the rules script all connection
get reset (and I am thrown out of the box).
Is this standard functioning of ipfw or do I need to change any
configuration?
Thanks,
Siddhartha

IPFW: Blocking me out. How to debug?
Dear W.D.
Do you understand that by adding the rules into kernel space numbered from zero to sixty five thousand five hundred thirty four
you may alter the behavior of the rule number sixty five thousand five hundred thirty five
can you please define and list the goals you are trying to achieve by altering default rule in the terms you can both explain and understand.

IPFW compiled in kernel: Where is it reading the config?
Hi peeps,
After compiling ipfw into the new 6.2 kernel, and typing "ipfw list",
all I get is:
"65535 deny ip from any to any"
From reading the docs, this might indicate that this is the
default rule. (I am certainly protected this way--but can't
be very productive ;^) )
By the way, when I run "man ipfw" I get nothing. Using this
instead:
