Heterogeneous XCP 1.6 pool
Hi,
I''ve been trying to use E5520 and X5650 together in an heterogeneous pool without success.
I know the combination is not on the official XenServer supported list (http://hcl.xensource.com/CPUPoolsList.aspx), but I thought it would be possible to set the mask anyway and see for myself if the combination works…
My problem is that the mask doesn''t "stick" after a

problems with intel S5000VSA board and hvm
Hi @ll,
i use an intel S5000VSA server board with two xeon cpus. I installed a
debian squeeze amd64 system with debian xen and qemu packages.
Before i installed xen i check out successfully the virtualization flag
of cpus by
grep "vmx" /proc/cpuinfo
After installation of xen
(http://wiki.debian.org/Xen#Installation_on_squeeze) i can not run a hvm
domu.
xm dmesg | grep -i vmx

Kernel panic with 2.6.32-30 under network activity
Hello,
I''ve got several kernel panic on a domU under network activity (multiple
rsync using rsh). I didn''t manage to reproduce it manually, but it happened
5times during the last month.
Each time, it is the same kernel trace.
I am using Debian 5.0.8 with kernel/hypervisor :
