FreeBSD not-so-stable
I have a FreeBSD 4.8-Release machine that I upgraded from a 4.5 or 4.4
machine. It works just great for about 9 days, then processes will not
die. It starts to become a problem when I can't kill processes, restart
services, connections hang, and I can't reboot or shutdown, I have to do
a hard reset.
I can't really find anything in the logs to indicate what is giving me

bug in 1.0RC2?
Hello,
I have a small problem with dovecot 1.0RC2. This didn't happen with
former versions. There are imap processes that are left open a long
while after the client disconnected. I am running dovecot on OpenBSD
3.8. Below is the output of a process list. As you can see, there are
many imap processes for the same login running.

Identify AD Domain User processes from top
Is there a way to take the effective user output from top and figure out
which AD Domain User is indicated by the smbd process?

virtual mailbox users users can send, but can't read e-mail
Greetings,
I am trying to add the second virtual mailbox domain (transco.org.au) to
an existing Postfix/Dovecot/MySQL mail server. Users of the first
virtual mailbox domain (transylvania.org.au) have no problems
sending and receiving mail.
Users belonging to the second virtual mailbox domain can successfully
send mail to outside, however they won't receive the mail, though

Hello,

That's right -- nouveau currently requires 4k page sizes to work. This is a
software limitation, not a hardware one though.

This message was sent to bugtraq today:
While playing around with FreeBSD 5.4 and jailing I discovered that it was
possible to put an ethernet interface into promiscious mode from within the
jailed environment, allowing a packetsniffer to gather data not meant for
the jailed box. This also affects FreeBSD 5.3 (tested) but not FreeBSD 4.x
This can be reproduced on boxes where BPF support is

Hi!
On my FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-p7 server I was unable to retrieve the
correct information from my two UPS. Every time only the first UPS will
returned when I entering "upsc apc900" or "upsc apc901". I don't know
why (Bug or configuration issue on my side?!). I have downloaded the
latest source code and with my "patch" I was able to get the right

Looking at the trace I wonder - is the limitation in Nouveau or in TTM?

What changed in Directed PickUp between 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 ?
Hi,
I'm banging my head over this.
Usually, I'm using a SIP hardphone feature called "Call Pickup Starcode" to
enhance BLF with Directed Call Pickup :
basically, SIP hardphone (here a Thomson ST2030S) is configured to send an
INVITE message whenever a BLF is pressed while blinking.
The INVITE is build with the extension number (attached to the BLF that was
blinking and pressed)
