Singularity in a regression?
R friends,
In a matrix of 1s and 0s, I'm getting a singularity error. Any helpful ideas?

Full_Name: Kevin Wright
Version: 1.4
OS: Windows 95
Submission from: (NULL) (170.54.59.160)
Note: This was the 1.4 build for Windows that Brian Ripley made available.
The first example in the help for reshape doesn't work for me. When I cut and
paste, this is what happens:

categorical variable coefficients in QSAR
Dear list:
I am interested in the following sort of problem, as is found frequently
in the field of QSAR. I have biological activity as a function of chemical
structure, with structure defined in a categorical manner in that the
SUBSTITUENT is the levels of the POSITION factor. For example, data from
Kubinyi (http://www.kubinyi.de/dd-12.pdf) for this type of analysis is

G'Day Tanya,
Is it too late to bring in the following patches to fix some major
brokenness in the AuroraUX tool chain for 2.6?

I compiled llvm and llvm-gcc with separate objects directories.
Platform is x86_64-linux-gnu.

[LLVMdev] 2.6 pre-release2 ready for testing
LLVMers,
2.6 pre-release2 is ready to be tested by the community.
http://llvm.org/prereleases/2.6/
If you have time, I'd appreciate anyone who can help test the release.
To test llvm-gcc:
1) Compile llvm from source and untar the llvm-test in the projects
directory (name it llvm-test or test-suite). Choose to use a pre-
compiled llvm-gcc or re-compile it yourself.
2) Run make check,
