Hi I have dataset that consists of two columns AB 0.102 AC -0.002 BA -0.102 BC 0.270 CA 0.002 CB -0.270 I wish to create a matrix so that I can eventually plot the data. A B C A 1 0.102 -0.002 B -0.102 1 0.27 C 0.002 -0.27 1 Any help or guidance would be greatly

all.equal: possible mismatch between behaviour and documentation
Dear all, The documentation for `all.equal.numeric` says Numerical comparisons for ?scale = NULL? (the default) are done by first computing the mean absolute difference of the two numerical vectors. If this is smaller than ?tolerance? or not finite, absolute differences are used, otherwise relative differences scaled by the mean absolute difference. But the actual behaviour

[LLVMdev] POST MORTEM: llvm-test changes
For the heck of it I tried upgrading to gcc 3.4.2 (from 3.3.3). It didn't make a difference. So here are the failures for llvm-test. All diffs are against the "native" output. ===================== MultiSource/Applications/sgefa cbe failed differently from jit/llc. First cbe: 84c84 < One-Norm(A) ---------- 8.879153e+02. --- > One-Norm(A) ---------- 8.879156e+02.

Help with data containing date
Hello Everyone,I think this is a very simple problem, I have been struggling with it for a few days now. I have a 10-year daily data in the following format. Hi all I am trying to generate a normal unbalanced data to estimate the coefficients of LM, LMM, GLM, and GLMM and their standard errors. Also, I am trying to estimate the variance components and their standard errors. Further, I am trying to use the likelihood ratio test to test H0: sigma^2_b = 0 (random effects variance component), and the t-test to test H0:mu=0 (intercept of the model Yij = mu

xen_evtchn_do_upcall
Hi, Is anybody know the purpose of this method (xen_evtchn_do_upcall)? When I run a user level application involved in TCP receiving and the SoftIRQ for eth0 on the same CPU core, everything is OK. But if I run them on 2 different cores, there will be xen_evtchn_do_upcall() existing (maybe when the local_bh_disable<http://www.cs.fsu.edu/~baker/devices/lxr/http/ident?i=local_bh_disable>() or

all.equal: possible mismatch between behaviour and documentation
Sorry; minor clarification. The actual test criterion in the example I gave is of course abs((0.1-0.102)/0.1) < 0.01, not abs(0.1) < 0.01. In any case, this does not match (my reading of) the docs, and the result is not `TRUE`. My apologies, to elaborate I carried out a correlation analysis and I want to plot the data (similar to the graphs available in the corrplot package. However, the results are as follows (I have many more combinations): AB 0.102 AC -0.002 BA -0.102 BC 0.270 CA 0.002 CB -0.270 I now want to create a matrix that uses the names from the

Error in combined for() and if() code
Hello, I am trying to filter a data set like below so that the peaks in the Phase value are more obvious and can be identified by a peak finding function following the useful advise of Carl Witthoft. I have written the following for(i in length(data$Phase)){ newphase=if(abs(data$Phase[i+1]-data$Phase[i])>6){ data$Phase[i+1] }else{data$Phase[i] } } I get the following error which I have not

[PATCH RFC 0/4] vsock/virtio: optimizations to increase the throughput
This series tries to increase the throughput of virtio-vsock with slight changes: - patch 1/4: reduces the number of credit update messages sent to the transmitter - patch 2/4: allows the host to split packets on multiple buffers, in this way, we can remove the packet size limit to VIRTIO_VSOCK_DEFAULT_RX_BUF_SIZE - patch 3/4: uses

ask for help on nonlinear fitting
I have a table like the following. I want to fit Cm to Vm like this: Cm ~ Cl+Q1*b1*38.67*exp(-b1*(Vm-Vp1)*0.03867)/(1+exp(-b1*(Vm-Vp1)*0.03867))^2+Q2*b2*38.67*exp(-b2*(Vm-Vp2)*0.03867)/(1+exp(-b2*(Vm-Vp2)*0.03867))^2 I use nls, with start=list(Q1=2e-3, b1=1, Vp1=-25, Q2=3e-3, b2=1, Vp2=200). But I always get 'singlular gradient' error like this. But in SigmaPlot I can get the result. How
