Diag "Hat" matrix
Hi R users:
What is the difference between in the computation of the diag of the
"hat" matrix in:
"lm.influence" and the matrix operations with "solve()" and "t()"?
I mean, this is my X matrix

Problem on model simplification with glmmPQL
Hi all,
I try to make a split-plot with poisson errors using glmmPQL, but I
have some doubts about the model simplification.
Look my system:
Block = 3 blocks
Xvar1 = 2 levels
Xvar2 = 13 levels
Yvar = Count data Response
I need know about the behaviour of Var1, Var2 and interaction
Var1:Var2.
Look the levels:
> levels(Xvar1)
[1] "A" "B"
> levels(Xvar2)

multi-class classification using rpart
Hi,
I am trying to make a multi-class classification tree by using rpart.
I used MASS package'd data: fgl to test and it works well.
However, when I used my small-sampled data as below, the program seems
to take forever. I am not sure if it is due to slowness or there is
something wrong with my codes or data manipulation.
Please be advised !
The data is described as the output from str()

Serial Correlation Test for Short Time Series
Hello,
Are there any R functions available for performing a serial correlation test
for short
time series (e.g, series having between 10-14 observations)?
Many thanks!

MMX IDCT for theora-exp
Hello,
I'm attaching IDCT MMX patch. I reused IDCT from theora-a3-MMXd.zip.
It should work on 64bit X86 platform too.
Here is most used functions when playing video with jet aircrafts (gripen)

Encoded frame content is 720x480 with 0x0 offset
I can play this video with like 200-300 frame drops on Athlon XP 1700+

[LLVMdev] 2.2 Prerelease available for testing
LLVMers,
The 2.2 prerelease is now available for testing:
http://llvm.org/prereleases/2.2/
If anyone can help test this release, I ask that you do the following:
1) Build llvm and llvm-gcc (or use a binary). You may build release
(default) or debug. You may pick llvm-gcc-4.0, llvm-gcc-4.2, or both.
2) Run 'make check'.
3) In llvm-test, run 'make TEST=nightly report'.
4) When
