Problems with ecodist
Dear Dr.Goslee and anyone may intrested in matrix manipulate,
I am using your ecodist to do mantel and partial mantel test, I have
locality data and shape variation data, and the two distance matrixs are

Help on predict.lm

Different ARCH results in R and Eviews using garch from tseries
Dear Sir,
First of all Happy Holidays!,...
I am writing to you because I am a bit confused about ARCH estimation.
Is there a way to find what garch() exactly does, without the need of
reading the source code (because I cannot understand it)?
In Eviews (the results at the end) I am getting different results than

ML Estimation Differences with R and SAS
List,
I'm working on fitting a logistic model for a well known dataset (which is
given below in case anyone wants to try to reproduce). I used both R and
SAS to fit the model and have some differences in the parameter estimates.
I'm wondering if R calculates the ML estimates differently. I'm making NO
accusations as to which program is "right or wrong". That is not the

[LLVMdev] Status of Elsa->LLVM
I'm a little further along now. I've started to put together a simple
driver for Elsa and LLVM that I'm calling "ellsif" (cute name, I think
it works).
The file being compiled is a "printf" function. Here are timing results
for optimized and unoptimized runs:
