merge.zoo returns unmatched dates
Sorry for the lack of reproducible data, but this seems to be a problem inherent to my dataset and I can't figure out where the issue is.
I have several data frames set up as a time series with identical POSIXct date formats. If I keep the original data in data frame format and merge them using base merge- everything is perfect and everyone is happy.
If I transform the data frames to zoo

effects in ANCOVA
Dear R users,
I am trying to fit the following ANCOVA model in R2.4.0
Y_ij=mu+alpha_i+beta*(X_ij-X..)+epsilon_ij
Particularly I am interested in obtaining estimates for mu, and the effects
alpha_i
I have this data (from the book Applied Linear Statistical Models by Neter
et al (1996), page 1020)
y<-c(38,43,24,39,38,32,36,38,31,45,27,21,33,34,28)

Error in if (n > 0)
I've searched the Web with Google and do not find what might cause this
particular error from an invocation of cenboxplot:
cenboxplot(cu.t$quant, cu.t$ceneq1, cu.t$era, range=1.5, main='Total
Recoverable Copper', ylab='Concentration (mg/L)', xlab='Time Period')
Error in if (n > 0) (1L:n - a)/(n + 1 - 2 * a) else numeric() :
argument is of length zero

logistic regression
Hi
I am working on corpora of automatically recognized utterances, looking
for features that predict error in the hypothesis the recognizer is
proposing.
I am using the glm functions to do logistic regression. I do this type
of thing:
* logistic.model = glm(formula = similarity ~., family = binomial,
data = data)
and end up with a model:
> summary(logistic.model)

RxFax
I am also having problems receiving my first fax. I get a 320byte file (for a
4 page fax). If I look a the tiff generated, is just has some few dots.
I am sending the fax from a notebook with Windows XP to an X100P and using
libtiff v3.5.7.
Has anyone successfully received faxes ?
Output to the console as follows:
Changed from phase 0 to 1

Question on glm.nb vs zeroinfl vs hurdle models
Good afternoon,
I?m in need of an advice regarding a proper use of glm.nb, zeroinfl or hurdle with my dataframe.
I can not provide a self-contained example, since I need an advice on this current dataset and its ?contradictory? results.
So.... i have a dataset which contains 1309 cases and 11 variables, highly right-skewed and heavily zeroinflated (with over 1100 cases that have 0 value
