samba - Aug 2025 - Stats are not updating after resetting

Hi,

We cannot get the stats (smbstatus -P) after we flushed the stats using
smbcontrol all profile flush. The counters remain 0 even if IO is running.

Please let us know if this is a known issue.

Hi Srikanth,

Hope you have enabled the profile using "smbcontrol smbd profile on" .
I
could see the counters even after using "smbcontrol smbd profile
flush"
when I performed IO after the flush.
