samba - Apr 2025 - scanner stopped working to store files on samba-4.21.5

thanks, Rowland ... I don't see any related settings changing with 
Samba-4.21.5 (changelog), so I wonder what changed in the last days.

I will toggle that setting for now, and I already look for a firmware 
upgrade. Contacting the "responsible" company, to me that looks
unmaintained for years already.

server min protocol = NT1

I try that after hitting Send.

didn't help so far, I assume the whole smbd has to be restarted. I have 
to wait until evening.

And I ordered a call by the responsible maintenance techs (they left 
work already...)
