[Samba] Connection is now "unauthorized" to Samba from Windows 11 client
Thanks, Rowland. I was mistaken about the version of Samba I'm running... It is actually: samba-tool -V 4.17.12-Debian This is the latest version from Debian bookworm with "sudo apt upgrade." (Running on a pi4) Has this Debian bookworm release been patched with all the Windows update regression bugfixes? Or do I need to set up to compile the latest Samba sources myself. Is there a good guide for that somewhere on the web?

I guess you can update samba using back ports. It?s available for arm https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=samba&suite=bookworm-backports http://samba.bigbird.es/doku.php?id=samba:installing-from-backports On 11 Mar 2025 at 18:52 +0100, Rick Hollinbeck via samba <samba at lists.samba.org>, wrote:> Thanks, Rowland. > > I was mistaken about the version of Samba I'm running... > > It is actually: > > samba-tool -V > 4.17.12-Debian > > This is the latest version from Debian bookworm > with "sudo apt upgrade."
