[Samba] Samba 4.22 breaks Time Machine
Time Machine on macOS relies on fruit:posix_rename (in particular to rename the .sparsebundle file). Samba 4.22 removed this feature, thus breaking Time Machine. Perhaps this feature could be restored (perhaps only on a per-share basis)?
I also think it should be restored, but perhaps disabled by default and a note added to the man page for possible issues with Windows. There are Mac-only environments where it could be enabled safely on all shares, not just Time Machine.> On 9. The correct fix for this would be getting Apple to implement and use SMB3 POSIX Extensions which would cover this case correctly.
