samba - Oct 2024 - samba-tool computer add - does it matter to add Windows PC to AD? (mass join WIn PCs to Samba AD)

I don't know if I understand the use of the "samba-tool computer
add"
command correctly - it is only relevant for joining a Linux/non-Windows 
machine to AD, is that right?

Adding a Windows PC to AD with this command is not possible/doesn't 
make sense as you would have to edit the Windows PC registries at 
the same time - so it's by far the easiest to add a Win PC to an AD 
domain using the Windows GUI dialog - is that right?

Or is there a better way of mass adding Windows PCs to Samba AD 
(or more precisely - removing them from the old AD and join them to 
the new one)?
