Don't forget to transfer fsmo roles so that there will be

I think you mean 'bullseye-backports', as already said, RPI hasn't
moved
to bookworm yet.

But speaking of 'bookworm-backports', which now seems to exist, is there
any chance of a later (4.18) version of Samba now ??
