Enrico, you should be able to uninstall the patch, I did it. PART of it is not
uninstallable, but the part that breaks everything is. Of course you have to
disable updates first, otherwise you'll get it again as soon as you restart
windows.
Look for the patch history in windows, you'll find it.
Also, tell me about your setup.
Samba version, NT or AD domain style, local or RDP access.
As far as I know, Samba 4.7.6 and newer (and maybe even older) in AD mode will
allow you to login at the workstation keyboard but NOT IN RDP.
Samba (any version) in NT4 mode will not allow you to login AT ALL, unless you
disconnect the network cable and so you log in using cached credentials.
