samba - Nov 2022 - some directories are showed as regular files when hide unreadable=yes

Hello,

I have the following issue on a server running Samba 4.13.4 sharing a
single volume (server is joined to an AD domain):

On all windows clients, for some users (not all), on windows explorer or
"dir" dos command, some directories (not all) are wrongly shown as
regular
files, though they are directories.

However, on all windows clients, for all users, the power-shell command
"(Get-Item <path>) -is [System.IO.DirectoryInfo]" correctly
shows that they
are directory.

The issue disappears if I remove in smb.conf the entry "hide
unreadable=yes"
(On the backend filesystem "ls -l" command correctly shows that they
are
directory.)

Are you aware of any bug or uncommon configuration that could cause such
odd behaviour?
