Is there a way to dump the contents of gp_log?

what is the location of gp_log?

is there a way to delete individual items, or purge the log - during 
testing of course?

let me clarify my question.? Is there a way already built to manipulate 
the log.? I know I can call gp_db.retrieve() and gp_db.delete() from 
within my CSE.

tdbdump /var/lib/samba/gpo.tdb

To purge the entire log:

tdbtool /var/lib/samba/gpo.tdb erase

There isn't an easy way to delete individual items. You'll have to 
modify the individual keys, and you'll notice there is xml stored inside 
the tdb values.
