Do Windows 7 machines still utilize NMB Browse listing? I keep a 
separate smb.conf file and systemd script that serves only to start nmbd 
with a "compatible" NT Domain setup that is just setup to handle WINS 
and Browser Elections for the Android App Ghost Commander.

I tried to access my mother's Windows 10 machine and I can access it 
using its network name with the .local notation. That works.

It's the Windows 7 and the Windows XP machines that have the problem.

I know now what Rowland Penny meant about the NT Domain theory.
