samba - Mar 2021 - Setting up samba fileserver for windows server 2008

If I join a samba fileserver to a windows server, I need to configure Unix
attributes on windows side for users' permissions work correctly?

No, not required, if you clients only access shares from windows its not needed,
just it does depends a bit on how you use the server.
