[Samba] LDAP client internal error: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED
Suddenly my DC start to misbehave against LDAP query.
Sporadically some script (bash script, wrapper against ldbsearch
mostly) start to emit:
Failed to bind - LDAP client internal error: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED
Failed to connect to 'ldap://vdcpp1.ad.fvg.lnf.it' with backend
'ldap': LDAP client internal error: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED
Failed to connect to ldap://vdcpp1.ad.fvg.lnf.it - LDAP client internal error:
NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED
Sometime, rarely, also afterward:
Failed to connect to ldap URL 'ldap://vdcpp1.ad.fvg.lnf.it' - LDAP
client internal error: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED
Failed to connect to 'ldap://vdcpp1.ad.fvg.lnf.it' with backend
'ldap': LDAP client internal error: NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED

i've just started to reboot DCs that behave like that, but nothing
changed.

Thanks.I've not 'correlated' the two things, until now. I've had a DC 'offline': it was a remote site, and the network link was down. It was down by sunday. Yesterday afternoon the link finally come back, and... 'NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_DISCONNECTED' error desappered. Clearly, the DC that was down was another DC, not 'ldap://vdcpp1.ad.fvg.lnf.it' ... ;-) Again... What happen? Thanks. -- dott.
