Whilst Samba can, experimentally, be joined to a Windows 2012R2 domain, 
2019 is not yet possible.

It will be available whenever someone provides the required code or pays 
for it to be written.

Just for clarity: does this mean Samba cannot be joined as a DC or also 
as fileserver?
