samba - Jan 2021 - Update Samba AD DCs from 4.10 to 4.13

Hello,

i have here three DCs with Samba Version 4.10. And yes i know, 4.10 is 
EOL :)

So, is there a best practice for it? My plan was to update from 4.11 to 
4.12 and then to 4.13 and the Master DC would be the last DC to update.

It this a good idea or does something speak against it?

My DCs are Debian 10 with the Repos of Louis.

Yes that should work, but what is a 'Master' DC ?

All DC's are equal except for the FSMO roles and they can be on any DC, 
you can even share them amongst your DC's. If you are concerned about 
the FSMO roles, upgrade a DC and then transfer the roles to that.

Just take 1 step at the time. 

1) DC with fsmo, samba-tool dbcheck ( optional with crossnc paramater) 
2) other dc's. same .. ^^ 
3) DC with fsmo, upgrade, wait untill cpu load cools down to normal, then run
samba-tool dbcheck --reindex

point of attention. 
upgrades might reset some rights on sysvol, something i noticed or its something
in W10 .. not sure yet.

Im to buzy to look at this time on that.
